This role will be responsible but not limited to designing, implementing and supporting the following Novell & Linux based solutions.
Must have 3-5 years experience with systems design, installation and supporting Novell solutions. Experience with SANs and clustering technologies including DR concepts. Experience with complex messaging implementations including supporting and troubleshooting practices. Experience with Novell eDirectory a must! Experience with TCP/IP, DNS and LAN/WAN/Wireless.
The following certifications are a plus! CNE 6.5, CLP, CCNA, MCSE
Required Technical skills:
Solutions Architect
This role will be responsible but not limited to designing and implementing the following Microsoft technologies along with Security, SAN, and virtualization technologies.
- Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003, & 2007 - Microsoft 2000, 2003 Active Directory File/Print Services - NAS and SAN (Compellent, HP MSA, LeftHand) - Microsoft Clustering & High Availability - Server Virtualization (VMware) - Microsoft Terminal Services & Citrix
The ideal candidate will hold 1 or more of the
following certifications: MCSE 2003, CCA 4.x, CCEA
4.x, VCP Work closely with clients to specify, design and implement various solutions and perform assessments and heath checks.
Work with the Sales Team on project proposals and or Statements of Work.
Maintain in-depth technical expertise in the areas of Microsoft, Messaging, Clustering & High Availability, SAN, Security, Disaster Recovery, and Virtualization technologies regarding industry trends and competitive offerings.
Help maintain partner authorizations by keeping current on individual vendor certifications and or training requirements.
Required Technical Skills: Microsoft 2003 Active Directory Exchange 2000 & 2003 Microsoft Security Infrastructure (routers, switches, wireless, and firewall) SAN Architecture (Fiber Channel & iSCSI) Virtualization solutions (VMware) Data Replication and Backup Microsoft Terminal Services & Citrix
